Just stomp on the switch as fast or slow as you'd like.

I don't think I'd ever make a compressor either.
I love filters and phasers and flangers though, this is all cool by me bigtime.
That's kind of why I'd love to see you make a wah. I have no use whatsoever for that whacka-whacka-whacka sound either and most wahs just piss me off, but the idea of a foot controlled tone filter that adds something interesting to the party sounds very interesting to me.
Right now the Ibanez Weeping Demon is the only thing I can find that lets me set it to treat a wah more like a vintage synth filter than a wah and it still not exactly what I'm going for on that front.
Still the reason why the world stopped with that one style of foot controlled tone filtering baffles me. The possibilities seem almost endless.
Check out the iron ether xerograph, and xerograph deluxe, sounds like ud like

Not even a wah that makes your guitar sound like it's motor boating a huge rack!??

I hadn't thought of that angle of making something I don't love the sound of to see if I could make me love the sound of it... that could be cool.
And no, I wouldn't wait for me to make a phaser haha, that would be years away!
I love the idea of doing a foot controlled pedal though...I ponder a delay in a wah enclosure a lot....

C'mon, you're already halfway there with working expression inputs. But then maybe it's just my dream to have something batshit crazy in a wah style inclosure with old Maestro style roller pots on the sides, so that I have foot control over 3 different things at once while my pedal kind of looks like cock 'n' balls.
