Bassman head and couple of 15's never hurt anyone.. except their eardrums.
Edit: But yeah, pretty sure Cap'n Jazz played Marshalls, likely JCM 800s or 900s. Those things basically saturated the market for amps all through the 80s and 90s.

Searching for that new sound.
If you can read this, then I'm back?

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.
Bassman into a 215 seems a good idea as I also play bass in this other band... I'll have to look into bassmen.
I tried out a sovtek 100 for $500 at musicgoround that was really nice through the marshall cab they had it hooked into. I might stop by with my cab and guitar sometime and think about that.
Is that a good price? Or should I look elsewhere? The light on the front doesn't work so i might be able to haggle.

Yah, if you search roland amps or Roland JC head, there are a zillion different JC amps, my rhythm guitarist uses a JC-50, but there 120 became the most popular. Also on a jazzy side note Ibanez just came out with an amp called the wholetone that's an 80 watt "jazz" amp that has a 1x15, that would be a good one too, especially since it probably has amazing cleans and it's a 15!
