I checked the syle, it sounds like a presence circuit. thats just feedback that add treble. its additive style. not really a filter.

sounds awesome. using the ms20 filter as a distortion. I guess the TSP has the right impedance with enough gain to actually use it on a guitar. and I apolagize for my overall douchiness lately, I'm just really bored and pissed off at the world cause I'm broke and sick at the same time.

Thanks man. TSP adds a pre-gain and a post-gain section around the filter itself so it's really easy to overdrive it all to hell. One of my desert island pedals if there were ever to be such a thing.

everything TSP does is genius. did you hear about the auction he had. he had to move in an emergency and people where donating stuff for him to auction off so he wouldn't be homeless. tesla was a ditch digger for a year. great minds are almost disposable. its so tragic.

Yeah man. TSP is one of the best out there in my opinion. Been a bumpy road for him, but he seems to be getting back on his feet.

all I'm sayin is that most people who buy that $400 moog expression pedal are using it with a synth. if your using it with a $600 bandpass filter then you have a $1000 wah.

there's been some good shit mentioned :) WMD Fatman, Subdecay Prometheus

Pigtronix makes good stuff - check out EP1 and EP-2 (my mind = blown by EP-1), i also quite like Emma Discombobulator and TWA Little Dipper (cool design, very vocal-like quality to the sound)
I make pedal demos as East Stomp Boutique - http://www.youtube.com/c/eaststompboutique

alesis modfx philtre is a pretty cool filter...maybe not as much mojo as some of these other guys (frostwave, tsp, moog, etc) but theyre usually pretty cheap, have all sorts of filters (hp, lp,bp, etc) and all sorts of modulation (lfo, step n hold, envelope, etc etc) w/ tempo sync if your into that kinda thing.

also the monotron would be a cheap lil guy u can use the ms20 filter on.

and altho pretty hard to find, just so its been mention, DBA Evil Filter isss the fucking double D's

I doubt that people who buy a MP201 are wanting to pull off wah sounds. That's like saying someone who buys a Studer 2" tape machine is buying a $10,000 tape delay. Sure you could use it for that application, but that would limiting its potential. You could also use it for chorus!  I'm totally messin with ya! I just wanted an excuse to use that extremely absurd analogy. :p
