Replace the resistors with jumpers. You can just solder them to the two leads of the resistors without even having to remove them.
Yeah, you can use leads from old resistors, a bit of wire, whatever.

ok....so I did the emitter mod and fucking love it!!!!! Thanks for all of the help. Maybe I will finish the other part of the creamy dreamer mod sometime soon.

Ummmm....after doing the emitter mod my tone bypass seems a little different. When you switch it on for the flat mids section you have more mids but the tone pot is active now. Before it did not make a change. I like the sound but wish to understand what happened. hahahah. it nails the Siamese Dream sound.

nevermind....fixed it! Hahah. One of the wires to the tone pot leads came undone. Sounds awesome!
