That sounds pretty cool!!!

But if the cartridges are SMD copies of say the DE Soda Meiser or the Fuzzhugger Algal Bloom. Why would I ever buy another stompbox?
On the other hand people who already have a lot of fuzzes why should they buy this?

Will there be unique cartridges as well as pedals which won't be cartridged etc. ?

Truth. Needs more chrome.

Edit:
Was there a Console I at one point? Also, did you address reliability issues found with the NES console. I don't want to have to blow on my fuzz cartridges to get them to work. ;) This reminds me a lot of the format of the API Lunchbox. Much cooler than the Foxrox Zim, since other builders are invited to be a part of it. :thumb:

For now the cartridges designers will be focusing on Fuzz, Distortion, Overdrive, and Boost fx, but there is the possibility of expanding into other kinds of fx in the future!

Umm Devs, wouldn't having the cartridges sticking out be sort of risky? One bad stomp and snap goes your cartridge?

NES STYLE INSERTION.

This sounds like a pedal worth investing in, not really expensive either.. This thing I will definitely something I will buy, but other effects must come too, I am in need of a ring modulator, but buying a cartridge seems to be better than a whole pedal somehow, cause I will only use it for a few things..

So this is a great invention, that nobody thought about it earlier..

I think cause it will run cartridges from other companies too, or something like that^^

Could you include a guard rail in the space between the knobs and the cartridge slot?

I really don't think it's going to be an issue. ... but I'll definitely think it through, because it might not be a bad idea, if anything to ease people's minds.

Effector 13 console, devi cartridges
Less direct association to Devi's main line, less overlap
more likely people will develop cartridges for it
etc.

It's all good man. I figured I would jump in, since you probably wouldn't like how it would feel to have Devi respond.
