I've got the DL4 and I love it but I mainly got it for the looper and the looper is awesome
easiest looper to use hands down I read alot of negative reviews about its reliability
but all the reviews also stated how awesome the looper is and now that I know drasp
can modify it to make it more awesome my decision was a no brainer!

I was talking modification not modulation. How much does the one touch record mode cost? Is there an undo on either?
Thanks for your help everyone

the problem is you'd have to have external tap tempo after the mod - instead of tapping the tempo on the original switch, you'D just start and stop the loop recording... so think about it

i love my dl4, although i mainly use it as a looper. only complaint is that you can't switch between looper mode and everytingelse mode unless you bend over and turn the switch.
my switches are acting funny so i guess i would recommend getting them replaced.

Oh and that reminds me... with SMMH you can loop in almost every mode instantly

I don't care for tap tempo at all. I really don't mind that at all. The DL4 needs to have an undo and delay w/looper function to sell me. As well as not everyone I know having broken their unit at some point.

Still just having someone who can upgrade it and make it more reliable looper wise with
installing better footswitches.

So the only cons to the SMMwH are the bending over to change presets(which I find to be no biggie since most pedals are only set one way and you'd have to adjust all the knobs to switch), holding down the pedal to record a loop, and it takes a few seconds to erase a loop.
DL4 cons are the switches, bending over to switch the mod, and volume drop.
Anything to add?

You have to first turn off the SMMwh, then hold onto the switch a few seconds to erase a loop. No Undo layers.
