+1 and probably not the only one, that's the VALUE PRICE of the year!

I've seen 4001 bodies alone sell for 800 $US (the prices for genuine Rick parts have gone fucking paranormal).
So buy NOW refund tomorrow by selling stuff. Just admit it - the furniture was in the way when cleaning the house and it didn't match the carpet anyway. Besides, it's perfectly fine to sleep on the floor, we have just been spoiled with beds and stuff here in the Western world.

wow where did u see 4001 bodys for 800 dollars

i want in

Like I said I dont have the $ for it so I may have to trade in my bassman 300 pro for it...I love my amp
But on the other hand It would give my an excuse to save up for a love buzz when aen has a 100 watt version.
This all depends on how much trade value they will give me for it. I paid 1100 for it so

I bought a new 4003 just recently. HOLY BALLS did it have the worst factory setup I've ever seen. The nut was like 1/2" tall and the truss rods weren't even remotely tightened. Also the pole piece heights were all jacked up, the G-string was barely audible. Plus that stupid pickup cover was in my way. So I fixed the pickup height, removed the pickup cover (which far more involving than I thought possible), and then got a really nice setup at work. Now, even with a weird neck shape, a good bit of noise without the pickup cover, and a few other oddities (glossed frets, wtf?!), it's all

for me.
"balls" "nut"....uahahhahhuhhhhuahhhaah...

I this would piss me off something fearsome! you spend 2000 on a new instrument it should have NO issues. I fell in love with the glossed frets the neck is so fast and accurate!

Eh, it's all good. After the setup the bass quickly turned to mmmmmmmmmmmmmagic.
Also, they cost only $1,599 if you buy from the right dealer.
