I'd give it a big :thumb:. I was unsure about how it would sound with only one 12" speaker but it projects really well by itself and has plenty of bass for me. Its also the same height and width as the twin so that a bonus for me if I ever want to stack them.

Recently moved back to Philly for the summer. In between pedal boards so I don't have my pedals set up atm. They will go right there on the carpet though!

Twins are really powerful, warm, full frequency amps, it's just that the open back lets a lot of bass fall out the back, and anyway, most idiots just turn them up too loud and roll off all the lows and play shitty tube screamers through them. Which is why they ahve that "icepick" reputation.

This thing is immense. It sounds like a Twin reverb, minus the reverb. BUT THATS WHAT THEY INVENTED PEDALS FOR!!!
Next step- upgrade 15" cab and level venues.

THANKS SONIDERO!!!!!!!

I'm glad you like it, told you it was clean... The quest is almost over... I want to see some demos of your pedals through that beast...

Wait till y'all nucks see what I'm getting in return... bwwaaaa haaaaa haaaa haaaaa...

I must live in bubble, no one I know with a Twin has that sound, or a tubescreamer .

I can't tell who made this, b/c I have two stories:
1. Garnet designed, made by Kitchener Electronics. Meant to be used in public schools as a classroom amp.
2. United Amp brand, model name is Conservatory 55T, made by high school students as a shop project. Came from BC.

I believe the first story the most, Garnet licensed his designs a lot, and United Conservatory was a music store chain here in Alberta. Story 2 sounds sexier though. It is a 5-watt, 5-inch speaker(original speaker).

I don't know why there are three inputs, the middle one is the loudest by a slight hair. Has only Volume, Off/Tone, and Off/Tremolo. Super clean, at least for me. Nice warm, indie sound. Tremolo was the dealer maker for me; it's smooth and tastful.

Does it have a CSA label? Doesn't look like it does, but if it does and if it has the code LR24510, it's a Garnet. Otherwise it's something else. From the looks of it, I'd guess something else.
Looks like a Kiel (which, as you say is Kitchener Electronics Industries Limited).

It has a CSA label, but no serial #. I can't get into it yet, I have no Robinson screwdrivers . Once I get into it I'll take a picture, I think it's all tube, even the tremolo.

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.

Indeed, an LFO-17. It has an awesome tube tremolo, much different then my twin's. I love it. Going into that 2x15 Ampeg cab with a weber california and michigan in it, I can't put the volume above 9 without damaging my ears, so I have yet to hear it cranked and fuzzed out, but I have plently of pedals to do that. ;)

Nice! Mines a custom DA-17 with 6V6 power section. Love that amp!
