Same here my friend, some other friends of mine hit me up today trying to get me to jam with them. They really idolize me because I helped hook them up with a shit ton of shows, showed them the ropes and even recorded their first three albums. Cool cats but not quite sure they are the kind of people I'm looking for. My drummer friend that I told you about is still interested, he's in the process of trying to buy a house near me and then we are going to start formulating evil plans  for which we will need a third member :poke:

I HAD a fender 300 that I sold with the intention of buying another once I made it back to America but my wife decided we needed my savings for other things :wha?:
It was WAY too much for anything I did in Hawaii and it destroyed 3 black widows, set one on fire.

Mine lasted a week :picard: then it had a complete and total melt down, fried wires and circuit board, the whole works. So now i'm going to be repurposing the iron for my next dunwich build, which we're thinking is going to be a 240watt kt88 powered Bass Wizard, with an SVT 1 eq channel. It will also have slave in/out to be used in tandem with my current Dunwich head. Once we get things rolling you won't have much to worry about other then maybe cab's, I don't see my self using three 200+ watt heads at one time..... yet.

One of my friends used to own an old Aria Ric copy, but there're a bunch of companies that made/make 'em.

Just Google "Ric copy" and you'll be lookin' for hours.

(IIRC, Tokai, also, among others.)

Kinda hard to find em on eBay though because the Ric police will shut any auction down if they see a knockoff.

Maybe not on eBay, but they can't be that hard to find. Ric copies date all the way back to the lawsuit era. There've been Ric copies almost as long as there've been Rics.
