Is it typical for flangers to be more in-your-face with dirt pedals, and more subtle with amp distortion? That's the case with my flanger (Ibanez Paul Gilbert Airplane Signature). It's a sweet pedal, but I wish it sounded as good with my amp distortion as it does with my fuzz pedals.

If your amp has an effects loop put it in there. Make sure the loop is 100% wet if the wet dry mix is adjustable.

You guys - so this is not a 2015 flanger at all, but I was messing around with my PitchFactor today on the Micropitch setting and holy cow! Awesome sounding subtle flange! I already have plans to use it in tomorrow's set. I didn't realize how cool/useful flange is, but I think that is a setting I will be using a lot of!

Have you ever heard one of those in person Chankgeez? I've heard the piano sounds from the DMI similar one (which are cool in a cheesy way, but still kinda meh)...just wondering if it is a cool enough effect to justify the whole thing? It looks cool though

Never heard a Flanger Piano in person (either a Jen or a DMI). I've only heard what little clips are on YouTube.

Sounds to me, but I like those weird keyboards. (Chalk it up to loving Sun Ra.) I'd buy one if I had the cash.

(Still planning on grabbing a Clavinet when I have some $. Now that'd sound fabulous run through a flanger. )

I like the weird keyboards too. Really like them...but you know, everything is a space vs. amount of use thing these days haha (learning that lesson hard now). My dream that I will never fulfill is one of those Farfisa plastic blue organs.
