Here's the two I made. Guitar has a Fender Texas Special in the bridge that was in my 1951 Pawnshop. Sounds awesome in this, was too muddy in the neck of the Fender. The one string bass has a parts bin tele neck pickup. If you make a two stringer, put tuners on it so you get a chugger. You'll have a blast with it.
I think any of the decent modeling amps would work 'well' for slide, I tend to like the Vox ones more than Roland I guess, but anything with decent eq, amp models, and fx would work. It's just most of the youtube videos I've seen the guys always go "and I'm just playing through a little Roland Cube". Roland should be throwing some $ to Seasick Steve. I just want it to sound fvkt up.

And that's where this comes in. It's a three channel mixer-boombox. Instrument in, 1/4 mic channel has 'echo', and there's an aux to plug an iPod into that you could plug anything up to a stereo mixer into. Seperate volumes for each, and a master volume. Can't ask for much more for $8. I didn't realise Hannah Montana was a Pussy Galore fan, but this boombox sure sounds like it.
