Go Ryan GO!

Post by goroth »

The general lack of Ryan around ILF, and even his modest amount of action on the Instagram front, coupled with the previously mentioned backlog of building Devices of Awesomeness has led to the following conclusion (brought to you by the powers of Deductive Reasoning).

Ryan has been chained to his table, possibly and indeed probably, of his own volition. He has a mountain of pcbs over there, a stack of finished enclosures over there, and his parts bins in front of him. He's split his consciousness and has a computer running a Let's Play of something involving dungeons and leveling up, at the same time he is listening to a mix tape of palm-muted madness, while simultaneously soldering for dear life.

Tanya comes down to Ryan's building dungeon every now and then to shovel pizza into him.

BAM!

Out walk another 10 Elements. But Ryan doesn't notice. He's too far in the solder zone to care any more.

(Sparrow, help me out on the meme front dude...)

Agree with all of that, including that this thread needs a Sparrow meme.

We're all rootin' for ya Ryan!

I'm just hoping he gets a holiday really. I mean, (double?) house moves, being a genius and constantly having to catch up on orders must surely take it's toll!
But yeah, what the thread title says!

Meanwhile I'll be saving up for some more Dr Sci stuff.

These things.

Also, I dig your username - I used to be/kind of still am a fan of Chevelle.

Haha cool! I still like them, all though the last album and a half really haven't got to me like the older ones (I like 99% of everything form Point 1 - Scifi Crimes), which kinda all sounded the same. But like my cousin once said after hearing (another) new Chevelle release: "Just because I've had chocolate ice cream before, it doesn't mean I won't like having it again".

Yeah that last album was not very good at all. Hats Off to the Bull had some good tracks, but wasn't great overall. You're cuzzo is right - sometimes the same is a good thing.

Heeeyyyoooo Budskis!

Thanks for the nice thread, Matt, whataguy! And thanks for all the well-wishing buds, I appreciate it! I'm sorry I've been gone so much lately, what a busy summer. Life is good though! We're still busy with work, lots of orders which is great, lots of family and friends visited this summer, Tanya and I are still loving the Okanagan and getting to know it better.. it's all awesome, we're feeling like these are the good ol' days right now.

I miss you guys though! I'm gonna be around more now that summer is over and I'm gonna goof off here all morning today! Thanks again for this thread, you guys rule!

You found any "hidden gem" Okenagan wines that only the cool locals know about?
