I feel really dumb that I missed Jaga Jazzist. Maybe someday when I'm visiting my in-laws in Oslo. :)

The A Place To Bury Strangers concert yesterday in Tokyo was really nice. Loud, so I got some additional ear-ringing before going to sleep even though I used proper ear-plugs, but very nice. Great live performance and they seemed to be genuinely nice people, which always helps a bit.

Mutoid Man impressed the hell out of me. Ive never seen a band have so much fun with each other on stage, let alone while being tight as fuck. They kept flipping eachother off whenever there was a tiny break in their playing. Brodsky introduced all of their songs in a super tongue-in-cheek metal fashion. Much laughing was had.

Let's see...wife is really excited to see the Damned, St. Vincent (again, this Sunday at the Hollywood bowl), the Adicts (again), and is still wondering if Blur would be worth it (at the Hollywood bowl...she likes to remember the good Blur and last time we saw them she was pissed because they seemed to just "be going through the motion...like somebody needed cash"...he words. Plus, I think she is still mad at the time that singer guy burned her or something). Empire of the Sun is always fun.

I'm most excited to see the Darkness, Kids in the Hall, etc at Festival Supreme and getting to see the Subhumans as I mentioned before. Still on the search for some good shows around LA, but I am out of the "know" and the "punks/DIY/underground" people only do shows with their buds and keep it a secret...don't know why as the shows are at normal venues (not house parties). It's lame...I got lucky finding out about Forward playing...always thinking I am missing a ton of good shows because I ain't 18 anymore and slumming it with an Ice House and cutty sark down at the park. <--- *grumpy guy that doesn't leave his house*

Denver Broncos UK are playing here in Oct too (but I think it is the same night as Subhumans so I will miss it).

And I hate that Bands in Town app. Why do I have to have a dumb app to see a venue? Just post the damn thing.

NOPE

there's no more dates in 2015... the only way how to track the band is trough a website http://www.feelhappierthanever.com/ , ID is "truly" and pass is "yours"

they have quite a lot of music on there (both LPs), some videos and dates, but no more for 2015 :idk:

don'T want to sound too dramatic, but those two sets I saw this year sort of... changed my life maybe a bit? :idk:

Forward were amazing last year. Please report back if he does the 'WE ARE FORWARD FROM JAPAN, I CANNOT SPEAK ENGLISH' intro at the show. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it.
