Pretty sure the only stuff you're going to find is oscillating fuzzes that will arpeggiate. The In Limbo is an analogue delay that can arpeggiate the delay line, but the time shifts are controlled by a microprocessor.

what do you mean by your amp not liking digital pedals? I think that might be an easier fix than finding an analogue arpeggiator.

it makes this weird hissy noise when i plug anything digital in, even in bypass, even a true bypass pedal thats digital

it's been a while maybe i should try some more digital pedals

last one i tried that did it was a source audio soundblox the smaller one, not the soundblox pro

i really want an aarp but i dont want to get it, be all excited, plug it in and my signal path is awful sounding because of digitalz

amp is a '67 reverberocket still has the orig tubes, at least they look it, they are ampeg branded

The only thing I can think of is perhaps inadequate power supply filtering. I had an ehx freeze for a while that was noisy as shit in bypass mode, just because of unfiltered noise on the power. Not sure how you'd get round that - someone more technical than me would have to chime in.

Well, you could have four or eight tuneable oscillators in sequence mixed with your guitar, but it's probably not what you're looking for.

Wolf Computer/Silver Apple does great arpeggios.

Yeah, it sounds like it might be a power issue.

But, anyway: maybe get some analog stuff that you can sequence from elsewhere? Anything that can oscillate where the pitch of the oscillation can be manipulated? I use a Moog MF-101 Low Pass Filter for this, and I hook up an EHX 8 Step to the Cutoff jack so that I can sequence pitches. Hence a super complicated--but pretty flexible--arpeggiator. All analog.

Try something with a toroidal transformer. That should isolate the noise from going upstream to your amp. And make sure the digital pedals are getting enough juice. At one point I had the freeze on a 100mA outlet and it went insanely unuseably noisy.

the transformer or whatever looks like a replacement. i can take off the back and snap some pics if that will help. the guy who serviced it last was supposedly a legit ass dude (it was shortly before i bought it)

forgot about that moog stuff.

Sorry, I meant in whatever is powering your pedals. A 1spot or similar is a switching power supply, which can cause noise in some situations. Then yeah, there are digital pedals that are just problematic. But in general, well isolated, toroidal transformer, no daisy chaining. That helped me in any case.

^^^But it is kinda prohibitively expensive. If that's the sound you're after (massive Moog-y low end), then it's as rad as rad gets. If you build your board so that it's basically a synth, this stuff gets easier. There aren't a ton of arpeggiator pedals out there. I think there was a thread on this recently...maybe it was another forum.
