Star Eater

Post by resincum »

heya papas, we just put our album up to stream over at bandcamp while we prepare for the actual release. free download as well as a CD/DVD bundle available August 26th to help us with vinyl costs. lots of Hum/Bardo Pond/Nothing influence for what it's worth. it's basically an album about my dead dog/best friend. it's my baby. it was recorded by Ross Ingram over at Brainville in the 915 and mastered by Riff-Raff at Riff-Rekordz Studios. hope someone out there enjoys it as much as we do!

Enjoyed it. I'll be buying.

We put our 17 year old dog to sleep in June. You should add the lyrics to the bandcamp.
While leaves shall fall, do branches intertwine, that we remain bound.

glad you dug it, man! really sorry to hear. I went ahead and did that for ya :) Battery Acid Fetish is about the last time I saw him; I was taking off to my partners and he was trying to follow me out the door (very disciplined dog, would never try and run out the door) got the call the next day and found him laying on his side in the backyard. for a long time that memory was a constant revolution in my head, with the background thoughts of it all being my fault. around that time, I was at the lowest of my life. piss fucking poor. I knew something was up with him and would bring it up with my family, but no one really took it seriously until he passed. my mother had the nerve to tell me she was getting ready to take him to the vet..it took me a long, long time to forgive myself of being so worthless I couldn't help my best friend. so the whole point of that repetitious riff in the song is the revolution of guilt coming to a heed. finally relief at the end of the blast beats.

anyways, we have a couple more videos up!

Thanks for sharing. I look forward to the physical release. Wish there was a shirt in that bundle. :)
