Also switched out the old Glendale bridge for a new one with the needed hole. and added a control plate with 2 stacked knobs so i have individual tone and volume pots for each pickup. Control plate is a little off though, so it lifts up a tiny bit in the middle.
What wood is the body and what was the staining/sealing treatment? I want to build something similar looking, in terms of wood appearance. Like a dark, pulled from the forest Les Paul.

I think it's an Alder body, I can't remember exactly. Ebony stain and 7ish coats of tru-oil. The wear on the one side is from a bow

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
Scored this garage sale beauty for a 20 spot today. I think someones cat may have pissed on it judging by it's fragrance, regardless, some naptha, steel wool, deoxit, and a fresh set of strings has this axe looking fresh now. My first Teisco, label says its an e-120, and bought it mainly due to the awesome hooked look of the headstock.
Not very knowledgeable with old Teisco's. Any ILFer's want to chime in and tell me what I'm working with here?

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
Sweet score!
Not really that much to tell. You've got yourself a no-frills Teisco from around the mid Sixties. Yeah, I love the 4+2 headstocks, the pickguards and the fret position markers on those.
I like this website for good, basic info:

Thanks for the link
Won't get to plug it in for a few days, but it sounds good, solid, and lightweight. Seems like somthing fun and convenient to grab. Haven't been able to put it down since buying it.

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
You're welcome. Those guitars are fun to bang around on. I usually like guitars like that for playing slide, but if the action on it is nice enough, they often play pretty well.

I'm sure those Teisco's are also good for chaotic noise through an oscillating fuzz and some other crazy signal fuckers. Don't know for sure, never owned one. But I would given the opportunity. Nice score, especially for what you paid. Dibs on the flip
