yeah i'm liking the hardtail, i usually like jazzy trem but it's not essential and this holds tune awesomely and i never have to worry about popping strings etc.
plus i dunno if there are any 7 string trems out there that aren't floyd/edge/kahler style and the routing would be murder.
i can't actually think of anything about it i would need to mod, which is cool.

coil tap! the pickups are actually twin blade pickups so flipping the third switch means the outer coils only are activated.
i'm not really fond of coil taps though. they're somewhat high output pickups but very clear/articulate, when tapped it's kind of quiet and weak in comparison.

Ordered Wednesday night, just showed up an hour ago. 1978 Greco EG450. A few really minor dings in the finish here and there, looks like it's been locked in the case for 30 years. Honestly looks nicer than some instruments I've bought new and had for 5 years.

This is a guitar that my dad and I made. The lipsticks are phase flippable and the humbucker is tapped.

The body is routed out of a single piece of walnut. It's quite heavy!
