adjusting pregain doesn't really help and even post gain maxed doesn't cut it. I've always had this problem, even with my first one I don't mind having it before the overdrive to correct volume issues cause it sounds that damn good.

I have more reverbs than I need, and still have yet to acquire an RM1-N because it is so much more than just reverb; that might be a while. IN the meantime I shouldn't even be looking, but I couldn't help but notice this cheap Caline Snake Bite reverb, less than $60 new on EBay. Really nice control set, looks pretty nice, and sounds? Well, not bad at all....

But for srs I don't run it into my OR120 so I can't help you there. That shit goes direct only.
I like the Earthquaker Devices Ghost Echo for spring style reverb with heavy dirt. YMMV. The dirt definitely dominates the sound, and reverb is in supporting role, though.
So, guys. What is wrong with the VFE bumblebee? There must be something. I never see anyone here talk about VFE in general. I've been wanting a slow gear/swell pedal and the bumblebee seems pretty nice, and the prices are good too. And since Malekko is obviously never releasing the Sneak Attack, this might have to make do.

the bumblebee is really awesome but it is not easy to dial in, of all the slow gear type peds i've played that one was the hardest to get the sensitivity set to trigger it consistently, the actual sound of it and the compression is great though, VFE pedals in general sound pretty great.
if you want a slow gear pedal i'm pretty sure the Guyatone ones are the best regarded aside from the Boss SG-1 which now costs a lot more than it's worth for that effect.
