MOAR LAL. This one used to be mine, gave it away to an oscilladawan, now he has gone to Barcelona for a year and left it back in my care. And you all know what that means. Oscillating fuzz demo! This pedal is an overdrivey fuzz, that goes way beyond the typical fuzzdrivetoanz. Pass noon on the gain knob, and the fun starts. There's also a neat starve knob that starves the circuit until it just coughs and gasps for air. Last gasp, amirite? Loads of cool sounds in thar. And it's yellow!

Thanks. Check out the album I put out in the music forum. Especially the second track. :thumb:

When it comes to more famous artists, I'm not really sure, to be honest. Stephen Malkmus apparently uses the Fuzz Factory alot with the Jicks. Guy from Muse as well, but then you'd have to listen to Muse...

Hm. I feel like I should know, but I don't.

Oh yeah, Agata from Melt-Banana uses a MASF Epilepsy sometimes.

Man is the Bastard/Bastard Noise probably do (LAL stuff too, they are buds). Mike Patton probably does here and there on some projects. I have seen a few of those doom or new fangled metal bands in the ILF Stars pedal boards thread with some. They always seem to be scattered around on famous peoples boards but then I hear the music and it always just sounds like a tube screamer (almost like they put pedals there to gain a certain fanbase or something...like RHCP, the edge, etc with the Cyber Psychic..)

Anyway, always good stuff, EA!

Gotta get one of your cassettes for my truck (still has a cassette deck...gotta get some stuff from The MD/digdugdiy too)!

Only heard about Man is the Bastard in passing, will check them out. And I agree, you see a lot of famous guys having some noisy gear on their boards, without really hearing it in their music. Maybe they use them more for freakouts live or something? I don't listen to him alot, so I wouldn't know, but Nels Cline might use some?

Will ship your cassettes later today/tomorrow.

And thanks, guys. These demos are a lot of fun to make, cool that they're semi-useful/entertaining as well.

HOLY SHIT ANOTHER OSCILLATING FUZZ OH GOD OH MAN OH GOD OH MAN OH GOD OH MAN. So, this little guy doesn't do the craziest oscillations or anything, but it does sound great doing whatever it is that it does. Loads of suboctaves, glitches, and teh heavies. Your guitars volume and tone controls slightly changes the pitch of the oscillation, but you don't get loads of control. The stutter switch is cool (and works while the pedal is bypassed, not for oscillations but as a momentary killswitch), allthough you can't play on top of the oscillations when it's engaged. To sum up, fat oscillations, heavy fuzz, fun stuff.

Oh, don't know if it matters to any of you, but it just struck me after I rewatched it just now: My commentary in the demo is not meant to be offensive to any of you christian or otherwise religious guys.

What a cool little box of sonic destruction and absolute mayhem. Weird sixties guitar tones with a sweet attack, and loads of bite when you dig in. And the oscillations are great - harsh and synth-like, blending nicely with the songs of your stringed instrument of choice. And expression control over oscillations always makes me happy, especially when it includes strange, filtery effects and cosmic screams from dying stars. And robots. Yes.
You got some really nice socks. :thumb:
This box sound great. :!!!:

Those subs are amazing, but that finish pisses me off. Putting a "funny" picture of Jesus that surfaced on teh intraweebz 10+ years ago offends me for some reason. But, still, the sounds make up for it. Bring it to our next jam and I shall have it taste the bass (and duct tape Jeebus' face). :snax:

Also, God totally loves fuzz. Closet doomer.

Put a hockey helmet on him and make it say "Strange man likes you!".

You've got some good sounds in the Eivind. Doesn't seem to be the monster that some of the others are though (and it might be a better fit for bass or something like ya'll are sayin'). The stutter switch could've been more I think. Still, great demo.

I don't find the pic offensive, but they should have gone with one of these:

And yeah, I would say that it is more fitting for a doom guy who wants some fat oscillations now and then, or a bass player. Still, a great fuzz. Oh, hey, Hirofumi mailed me about the demos, and mentioned that the new pedals would be coming out slowly, and hopefully soon. :!!!:

Thanks, Syl. I'm not that into socks, but when I do buy them, I like them to be a weird mix of classy and colourful.

Just something! Anything haha! Thanks Eivind...made my day.

Can't stop playing my 86 and Green Monster! Day one buy for sure!

Funny thing about that picture: When Dogma came out and the buddy Christ was revealed...tons of people in my hometown protested and boycotted Kevin Smith. It was pretty funny. There wasn't anything sacrilegious about it...it was a criticism of the commercialization of religion (the movie was mediocre though...Clerks and Mallrats still reign...tusk and red state were good too though).

Cheers on your recommended picture though. I like it! But Jesus looks like a member of the WWE...which is cool because I am sure he could be if he wanted to be.
