Man, what is up with weed speakers? You know, the ones with hemp cones? As someone who doesn't imbibe in herbal medicine, I find the novelty of alternative use of organic substance interesting. So what's up with hemp cone speakers?
I.E.
cannabis rex - sounds like a scary weed dinosaur?
tone tubby? sounds like a happy fellow
Jensen Jets Falcon - the ad copy only says that it has a 'magical green cone' that is made from 'all natural materials'. so I'm just assuming it is also a weed speaker
Hemp cones are great for warming up bright amps, they aid in rolling off some of the highs. I'm partial to the Weber Amsterdam's myself as I own a pair of those, they are alot like Lead 80's. Only other thing I have to offer is that they take a little longer to break in than your typical speaker.

You try that and let us know how it works out for you.

Will do
For some reason I can't help but think about John Delorean. I don't think I'll be giving it a try.

hemp is very durable, and can be sustainably produced. cones made of hemp have the benefit of being a little more rugged than regular paper. tends to be a little "softer" thus rolling off the high end a bit. which can be good.
