Cure-ish chorusey Flanger for guitar and bass VI?

Post by Disarm D'arcy »

Guys and gals,

I'm thinking there might be something in my pedal arsenal that's missing. A Flanger would be cool. Something that sounds Cure-ish and works on both guitar and bass VI.

I've obviously looked at the Boss BF-2, but the prices are often extravagant and there are not that much of these available over here. I'll probably keep looking for one used in a price range I'm confortable with.

Do you guys have experience with these?
What other Flanger could rock in this scenario?
Good deals: OsbornKT, Phantasmagorovich, UglyCasanova, DarkAxel, Skip, D.o.S, ColdBrightSunlight, Eivind August, Goroth

My shepherds end flanger gets to me on Monday. I will report back if it's up this alley.

Yeah was gonna say the same thing ^^^ - I recently went through a little Cure phase (recurs every few years) and got a BF-2. It's really the best possible way to achieve that sound.

I say go for that deal!

What do you mean extravagant prices? I see them going for around 80 all the time on reverb

D'arcy, pickup DA's BF-2 or I'll hit you in the virtual face. It's not on my gig board at the moment but I really miss it.
