is there such thing as a HALF SPEED pedal?
like... u know on the fancy loopers that make it 1/2 speed. i want that.. but in a pedal? does it exist?

But seriously, octave down is a solved problem so I gueas you're talking about some kind of real-time timestretch in a pedal? I don't think that exists... I would buy such a thing if it did, though!

okay actually what i am talking about is easier to imagine when you think of a synth or keys of some kind...
like playing a chord on, say, organ setting. the chord is droning... if you were to record that, put it into the computer and slow it down it would get all globby and weird

Okay, so you're asking about a delay that when it samples your input it decreases the samples speed by half and outputs it, right? That's the only way I can see that working, because if it was continuously sampling your playing, eventually the sample would he too long for it to hold.

I mean you could use a normal looper on the delay pedal, too, but that's some tapdancing shit if you want to do it live.
