Yeah I have a classic player jag. Option 2 seems like the for-sure solution. I just noticed on the page for the standard Staytrem bridge, there was a little note that the conversion thimbles method was also a possible remedy for the adjusto-matic. So, as usual, I started second guessing like "There must be a reason people would go through more effort. There's gotta be some kind of mystic hullabaloo that makes this method worth mentioning!"
