Yeah, removable trailer is probably the best / easiest / cheapest.

Nihola tricycles look super cool though. I'd get that to haul stuff around if I couldn't afford a car.
Good deals: OsbornKT, Phantasmagorovich, UglyCasanova, DarkAxel, Skip, D.o.S, ColdBrightSunlight, Eivind August, Goroth

I like the trailer idea. Seems like a pain, but this whole plan is a pain. It's just like, to save trees or dirt or something. And to hopefully teach the kid a different way of life a little bit.

We did it for a few years. It really wasn't a big deal, you just need to plan enough time to get around, which took a little time to get used to. The trailers are easy to put on and take off.

If we didn't live in Wisconsin, where there is snow 6 months out of the year, I'd sell our second car and just bike.

I drive my kid around town since 3,5 years with a trailer. It is not that hard and worked out very good. Better than having a second car...

I've been eyeing up some adventure/touring bikes lately. I'm getting really interested in camping bike adventures. And I'd probably end up using it to commute to work.
These two in particular have really caught my eye:

I tried to remind myself to snap a picture of my bike for this thread but then I started drinking and forgot until the sun went down...

After now almost exactly 2 years of the update i have now 5614 km on my creme/red bike. The first pair of thick slicks is dead but man, these are good tires. No problem in 2 years daily commuting.

The Fargo is an insanely dope bike. The woodchipper bars are really comfortable. I don't care for Sram components, but many people like them. Also - I live in Fargo

Here's my current "do everything" bike - I'm desperately trying to sell a few things so I can get a decent road racing project on the go.
