Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
Robot Effects Space Case has an effects loop you can set to the wet or dry signal? I've had a lot of fun running a filter in thatUglyCasanova wrote:Inconuucl wrote:Paraloop with one side having a fully wet delay and the other an eq/filter?UglyCasanova wrote:I like this thread. It's where I ask all my stupid questions, like this one:
Are there any delay pedals where you can change the tone of both the "original" signal and the repeats? Say I want the initial sound to be very dark, yet get bright and crisp repeats? I know there's a tone knob on my guitar, but I'd like to kick it in mid-riff, also rolling back on the highs on the guitar would also lower the highs that the pedal has to work with when producing the bright repeats, no? Hmmmmm... Does that make any sense? Am I derping hard? Thanks, duders! Seems like a lot of effort to put that one idea I have into life. Maybe I can get some ILF builder to make me a one off delay that will give me control of both the dry and wet signals tone.backwardsvoyager wrote: i can't really think of any with tone control over dry signal, huh..
that's an interesting question, i mean lately people just seem to expect analog dry-thru on everything so we end up with all these delays pedals where you have zero control over that, it'd have to be fun to try.
i haven't tried this, but wouldn't one of those zoom MS-50 kinda boxes be able to do that? set up an EQ type effect and blend it with a delay then use the stomp switch to turn it all on at once? i mean the paraloop solution would work too it'd just need a lot more space and money, although you'd be able to pick any kind of delay and filtering you wanted there i guess.

Are these any good? I haven't found a Phaser that does it for me. Either too simple or too much going on.
This also fits my Black and White colour scheme that I always have wanted...

I like the old Enterprise V1 but the new ones aren't as good in my opinion, they sound less warm and are more tricky to dial in.
good deals with: the_brow, phantasmagorovich, alexsga, DarkAxel, goroth, The Wood Wizard, Tendollarcat, vbps, monkeydancer, intothegroove, Brobee

I need a bigger power supply than an 8out, and I don't want to shell out $300 for a phoenix, what do? I don't want to take to power outlets but I guess if there are no other options...

Just buy another smaller power supply? If you don't want to upgrade to the Phoenix, just have the two and tape them together and write "Walrus Audio Phoenix" on the top. Knife anyone who says something.

So that Cooper FX AARP is finally mine, but I'm trying to think where to put it in order of all my pedals. Smart money says go first because I like the way my SYB-5 sounds after the AARP, and I generally like having that first. But I don't know.

Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
Time for another one of UC's stupid questions and pedal dreams:
Are there any glitch reverbs out there? I guess I could put a Raptio after my verb, but I'd like to for the trails to continue from where the glitch took place, rather than the glitch just masking over the sound of the reverb as it decays so that the decay is much further down the line when the glitching stops. Again, I'm not sure if that makes sense. Damn English... why do you make things so hard? (twss)
I should figure out how to make pedals...

I get my glitch reverb from Eventide Space, TremVerb and DynaVerb specifically.
The ones in the Zoom MS70 are pretty darn close too.
