See the device that looks like a wah on his amp? Going into the mixer inputs?
It looks like one of the outputs goes into his amp, does the other output go to his amp as well? - there is a black cable with white shield at the and coming from the mixer out and then a right able cable going into the bottom input of the amp which has the same color.
Is it something made by Scott French for Spencer's guitar?

if it's the scott french guitar that thing has a roland 13-pin for an output which hooks up to a wah shell that's been turned into a breakout box.
the guitar has a bridge pickup, piezo strip on the nut and a rear cavity with a contact mic and egg shaker in it so that thing is used to split the signals to wherever it is he wants to send each rather than having 3 different cables sticking out of the guitar.
I dunno, but this thread just got me listening to his psych-folk-weirdness project Solos (yeah, it seems he plays drums in that, not geetar), which is pretty damned fun.
yeah that thing is awesome. like all the old 2 piece hella stuff was on that yard sale tele copy.
he's one of those guys with such god-tier technique that it doesn't really matter what he plays through.
