These guys fixed my vintage Carlsbro Mantis pedal which is pretty obscure. Call them and ask. If it is too far,you can always mail it to them I am sure. It is probably a bit over an hour from philly in Bucks County.

yup that's right. it worked when he shipped it. i suspect my roommate used it with a switching power wallwart (i does have a jack) instead of a battery.

I suspect this pedal would be really easy to fix. It's only one thing inside of it if I remember correctly?

If you mean one transistor, yes. There are several things that could fail though. Unfortunately in this case, if the transistor is actually toast then the pedal is no more. They are rare because the tranny is rare :trippy:

And if it is toast, I'll take a chance....(haha, thanks for the mention, UC).

If the transistor is the problem (even though I would guess it is the caps)...
There is an equivelent transistor that was the standardized form that is a little more common which may be able to tide you over until you find the original transistor...(like some other company took the sony design and made more). Might have to find some old sony transistor radios to source one but I don't know which models they came in (check the manufacturing date and find sony radios from that era).

http://www.ebay.com/itm/381345835866 -> Then replace the 2T76 with one of the American equivelents and resell it or use it in the garage.

The Sony 2T76 was in the Sony TR-610 Six Transistor Radio is one example of a place to find them (but I am sure there are more models/things that used them).

Good luck!

Did you ever get this fixed? I was thinking (mostly because of my Green Monster) that it might be the switch...seems the most likely.

Also, found this for you: http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/a ... r106511685
