I haven't listened to them but their claim to fame was, Andy Hurley of Fall Out Boy was the drummer circa 2012. They've become a very popular metalcore/modern hardcore act in the interim.

(Fun fact: despite making pretty unlistenable pseudo-pop music these days, FOB all used to play in hardcore bands and were birthed from that scene. They initially bonded over their mutual love of Neurosis. Similar story: New Found Glory dude used to be in Shai Halud.)

Unfortunately for them, it appears their lead vocalist and primary songwriter might be a rapist. "Might be" meaning "is almost certainly."

shitty, shitty cleanshirt d - beat band, with or without Racetraitor dude on drums. Main dude from the band was basically the biggest crybaby shithead ever when they toured here. Has emerged since that he was abusive toward his ex-girlfriend/former bassist for most of their relationship. His 'response' attacked her character and didn't actually deny it. Only a small percentage of the online chatter about it has suggested that she was making it up or deserved it and this is why women shouldn't be in bands etc etc, leaving the more cynical amongst us slightly less inclined to shoot ourselves in the face every time we read the comments.

Also he played drums in Today is the Day and actually got kicked out, if there wasn't already enough red flags about him.

One time i had a friend that used to rape my girlfriend all the time. he would come over and stay at my apartment and we would get drunk and i would pass out or go get food with my roommates and apparently thats when he would rape her. I mean she never acted weird around him and shit so i didn't know till years later when she told me. I wasn't surprised at that point though because several girls had come out since and accused him of raping them. Also one time he kinda kidnapped me when i was drunk and took me to this party and tried to suck my cock. Anyway he works at a vape shop now and plays in a shitty metal core band.
