Hook it up to a good 1x12 box and be surprised. ;)

Are there many amps that switch between low wattage and higher wattage? I've been entertaining the idea of upgrading from my Vox Pathfinder 10 (although tbh I'm in no rush). I noticed that the Orange Tiny Terror and Dual Terror have the capability to switch between wattages. How well does this feature work? Are there other amps that do the same?

My goal is to switch from being an all-around housecat to maybe playing in a band again, for the first time since I was a kid. I've never owned a tube amp, but don't have room in my house for multiple amps.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

Those power switches work differently from what you might expect in my experience, it doesn't so much lower the volume as it lowers the headroom and almost always it doesn't sound as good as full power mode, it seems to decrease the frequency range of the sound or something.
A small amp like a Fender Greta or something is in my opinion far more useful for home use.

Yea, if there's not some sort of EQ option on the attenuation, it's usually pretty garbagey.

The Weber ones come with treble boost options to compensate for the bass boom in their models, I run mine on the +3 setting and it's very, very close to the thing in the room using the DI on it. At +6 it gets spikey, but occasionally I like it as an effect.
