Wait I don't have to make an account?
I... think I bought it without a hitch, but if anything comes up I'll hit you up for sure. Thanks for the offer dude!
(also holy shit I got a rowdy deal if this listing was even halfway not a scam).

Yeah, I mean if everything's legit I'll be paying like half of what it would have cost to buy new from the internet.

I had a fairly negative selling experience last week, but other than that, all has been good. Buying and selling.

Selling:
I have found that about 50/50 sales between Reverb and all other forums combined when something will sell. Not sure what that means but that's how its been for me over the last couple months.
Buying:
I have been finding some good deals lately. Not always the case but when I have been looking for something specific, at a specific price point Reverb has not let me down. I got a STEAL on a slightly used Gravitas which was just right place at the right time. Dude listed it in the wee morning hours, even for west coasters, and I woke up early, checked Reverb and there is was.

I've had ok luck on both fronts. I like that you can trade and they are ok with it. Well they want something out of it but fuck that. Lol

So, update, my initial Reverb experience has been radio silence. Paid for the item, haven't heard anything. That's not too bad, but Reverb doesn't even have the cursory Discogs thing where the seller can update like sending the invoice/got the money.

When I can, I do PayPal checkout. Just an added layer or protection if something gets fucked up.Disarm D'arcy wrote:Do you guys prefer reverb checkout or Paypal?

I put some pedals up on craigslist that sat for months. Threw them up on Reverb for more than I was expecting to get and they both sold in like 2 days. I was pretty happy.
I've also bought a few things and have had good experiences. Much better experiences than with eBay that's for sure.

Contact Reverb.
I know, at least with an account, I have received and sent messages to a seller with updates and whatnot.Reverb's FAQ wrote:We require that shipments be made and tracking on orders updated within 72 hours of receiving payment.
