Wellll lets face it.. deep down isn't Trump the president we as a collective populous deserve?
Come on, Mudfuzz. There are a lot more important problems than Trump to worry about. We have to end apartheid for one. And slow down the nuclear arms race, stop terrorism and world hunger. We have to provide food and shelter for the homeless, and oppose racial discrimination and promote civil rights, while also promoting equal rights for women. We have to encourage a return to traditional moral values. Most importantly, we have to promote general social concern and less materialism in young people.

This is true. and IF ALL SANE PEOPLE ACTED TOGETHER INSTEAD OF PET CAUSES!!!! THE CRAZIES DO! THAT IS WHY THEY WIN SO MUCH
My point is how in this country the amount of not participating allows the crazies and one ones with pretty smiles and empty words to rein. Trump in a sane world would just be a joke… but I come from california originally… you know.. home or Nixon, Reagan and Arnold.. so I can't rule that crap out.. and if we are all numb and don't bother then we deserve what we get..

This is the reaction most right-thinking people have to the Donald.
I think it's important to remember that republicans who agree "not Trump" are split among other candidates right now. Most of Cruz, Huckabee, possibly Carson and Paul's votes will eventually migrate to Walker as the field thins out. Rubio supporters will eventually back Jeb. Trump's current lead will certainly weaken in favor of the other major players.
Tl;dr I'm still not considering Trump a "legitimate" candidate.
