Help me with verb

Post by Iommic Pope »

So I sold my trinity earlier in the year and I miss the E1 setting, but honestly, that's all I miss.
I miss it A LOT though.
Any ideas on a reverb that does that thing real well (perhaps spacier, too) that does trails?
Don't need a bunch of modes or shit I'm not gonna use either.

I've been playing through the iRig and the AUFX:Space Verb app or Gliderverb which is weird...

Yeah I still haven't picked up an irig yet.
Have glider web though and it's been a treat with those synth apps you recommended.

Downloaded the tone print app and it seems that they have a lot of probably similar sounding verbs available, in particular a "cathedral" mode one designed by Andy from PGS. So that's probably it.
They have that one by Jonsi fromSigur Ros which I remember trying and quite liking as well, so I'll probably just grab one when I can afford it.
Soni, you rule.

I was gonna tell you to check one of those new guys, the Polara, and RV-6. But yeah, if you're after that one particular mode of your old trinity, it makes sense to go with a HOF mini...

RV6 is still on the radar a bit, but I'm pretty meh about those shimmer modes.

You should look into Dave Catching's reverb prints because Dave Catching is fucking rad.

 yeah I know. I'm paranoid I'd accidentally hit that mode while rocking out, go for the big ambient bridge and then shimmer everyone out of the venue.

Mr. Catching does not have any reverb prints.

I believe Will Sheff had his bathroom redone to his prefered verb specs so maybe you should do that. Toilet guitar!
