'That's standard stuff, but then there are the sounds that really relate to a specific show. Instead of overplaying things we often just underplay them and make them sound true to life. That makes the situations even funnier--like if Homer gets hit in the head it'll sound exactly like that, because the pain comes from the realness of it

I've seen video of him playing the sound effects and he maps the fret board out with the sounds and kind of plays a melody to sequence it right. Pretty neat.
