Waiting Room Session gear shotz

so my band (Unconditional Arms) went to Panda Studios and recorded a Waiting Room Session with Sam Pura. thought you guys might wanna see the gear and setup i used.

so we had to make the live room look cool for the video, so we had our amps all set up, but we wanted everything isolated so we used the tie ins on the wall to run to amps in another room. heres what i used:




honestly, i wish i would have grabbed the ad140 or even the vox ac30, because i really dodnt like how this head sounded. not as loud as i thought it would be, and wayyyyyyy too much treble. and like, kinda weak sounding? i dont know. i made it work though.



heres my bby that i wish i would have used instead. this amp is so goddamn perfect. especially now with the solid state rectifier. but it as just serving as a pretty prop.

Damn shame that those musicman heads are rare as hen's teeth here in Europe, the ones I heard in action just blew me away. My kinda board too, just efficient and to the point. Been thinking about trying a micro amp too, just for the hell of it. So what should I expect, just a clean boost, right?

i love music man amps, my bandmate's 1x12 65 is really great. super loud and huge sounding. that HD150 i played through though sounded weak. it was an EL34 model, and i dont like EL34's generally.

the micro amp is fantastic, its a clean boost but it adds a bit of "sparkle". i find my tele neck to be quite darker than my jaguar, so I kick on the micro amp to give it some sparkle. then i crank the volume to like 3 on the micro amp to really get some push. sounds fantastic. its probably my favorite pedal.

Not helping my GAS for an M-133, but thanks all the same
I'd want one to beef up the sound of all my single coil fenders, which go into a loud and really clean tube amp these days. Apparantly it's not that easy to just add a little sparkle/grit with a high gain fuzz pedal with the gain control down :s

we all have cathedrals, even the bassist. the other guitarist uses a micro amp+, cathedral, blue sky, freeze, eb volume, and a digitech jamman looper. bassit has a sansamp, eb compressor, ehx bass muff, loud/louder, cathedral, holy grail nano. weeeeee
