Your Boss Flanger is great too!
I don't dig the flanger (I'm starting to think maybe I just dont like flange in general) and I think the other two are too expensive for me right now. Do you have any other suggestions ?

I never tried those... but maybe:

EarthQuaker Devices Sea Machine V2 Chorus
EarthQuaker Devices The Depths
Greenhouse Effects Stonefish Chorus
Pigtronix Quantum Time Modulator
Alexander Pedals Equilibrium Tremolo

sonidero wrote:A Flanger is two lines of the same thing slightly delayed, a Phaser shifts the frequencies of the signal in and out of (phase) and a Chorus is two lines delayed like a flanger but with modulation on the time and or pitch... Flange and Phase are easy to get naturally while recording on tape or digital but a Chorus is harder to replicate in the recording process...

Robin knows his Modulation...

flanging is actually delay time modulated just like a chorus (if you don't modulate a flange, what you get is basically a comb filter...it's a "true" phase shifted effect because you are delaying just enough change the signal phase across the whole freq spectrum)

the diff between flanging and chorus is simply a matter of degree - how much delay time you are using.

So like was already said by someone else - if you get the right unit, you can cover both flanging and chorus

well that would simplify things!

what's your price range? that could knock out some options and simplify things more

Basically, whatever money I can get from selling the 3 I have now.

I'm thinking 125 for the unichorus, 60 for the phase 90, and I have absolutely no idea for the bf-2. it is made in taiwan. Are those good prices/what should I price the bf-2 at?

EQD makes happy stuff

the Pigtronix is neat but has TRS stereo out which annoys me.
Great dealings with: ryan summit, UncleGrandfather, Pizza, hbombgraphics, dangergirlstarship, Clockworker, kosta

My guitar pedalboard had a constant rotation of modulation effects for a while until I got my Depths, which has stayed on there for over a year now.

Of the pedals mentioned in the OP, my preference is to the Phase 90.

I was actually about to say that out of all the pedals he just mentioned, the one I was interested in the most was the depths. I want to get one even more now.

I saw the demos for the grand orbiter, and shit, now I want one. I kinda want it more than the depths, because the depths seems almost too subtle for me. I'm not sure.
