Which Modulation Pedals Would You Keep

I have 3 modulation pedals, an ebs unichorus, a phase 90, and a bf-2. I don't use any of the effects enough to justify keeping all of them, so I'm thinking of trading away one or two of them for something (modulation or fuzz, can't decide) that I would use more. If you could only pick 2 to keep, which would they be? What about only 1? If you play bass, answer as a bassist, if you play guitar, answer as a guitarist, if you play both, answer both, because I play both. (also keyboard/synth if you want, I run my microbrute through my pedalboard sometimes.)

Side question, I was wondering what setting on the BF-2 is closest to phase 90.

As far as replacement, I'm keen on TCE toneprint pedals. Stereo in/out, deep editing, cheap.

If I could have 1 modulation pedal, it might be the TCE dreamscape. Yeah, okay, its a John Petrucci pedal. Very cheesy. BUT it is chorus/flanger/vibrato and has a toneprint slot, too.

You have a chorus a phaser and a flanger so if you traded or sold them which other modulation would you get??? The Toneprints are cool cause of the editing if you're into that... How old are the BF-2 and the 90??? For bass I'd keep the BF and on guitar the 90 and for synths the EBS...

I meant like a different phaser or chorus or flanger, preferably one with more control.

Keep the Phase 90. Acquire an EH Small Stone. Decide which one you like better and flip the other one. Don't bother with something with a lot of knobs. You will just spend a lot of time adjusting it to get the perfect sound which will, inevitably, be the sound one of the two above mentioned phasers makes already.

also, if you're playing at the right volume No One will know the difference in sound. Analog is for studios and quietmusicjazznap. Any other use is for the player's own feels.

Imo a flanger is kinda hard to use in a subtle way. I can't really find good use for flangers when actually making tunes, I much prefer analog phasers and choruses.
On the other hand though, phase and chorus aren't too far apart, there's a bit of overlap there, where as a flanger is a different beast imo.

Can't really help with suggestions for replacements. I went from a CE-5 (meh) to a CE-2, and that's it
And I'm a bread and butter guy when it comes to phasers as well. I looked for a Small Stone V4, but couldn't find a cheap one at the time, so I ended up with a Dod FX20.

I've thought about replacing my modulation pedals with one fancy boutique pedal thas has a a zillion knobs. But for what I use em, it just makes more sense to stick to two really simple pedals instead

If it's any help you can get a chorus sound out of a BF-2 with the right settings, so perhaps keep the BF-2 and the phaser? I haven't played an EBS unichorus though, so ignore me if they're amazing. I'm answering as a guitar player only though. I've recently bought an old Ibanez Bi-Mode Chorus (two chorus pedals in one) and that's giving me a strong warbly and disturbing take on early 80s chorus sound... makes me think of The Cocteau Twins when I mix it into a phaser

A Flanger is two lines of the same thing slightly delayed, a Phaser shifts the frequencies of the signal in and out of (phase) and a Chorus is two lines delayed like a flanger but with modulation on the time and or pitch... Flange and Phase are easy to get naturally while recording on tape or digital but a Chorus is harder to replicate in the recording process...

Can you give me a quick comparison on all of them? I'm tempted to just go for the starlight because I think that's the only one I could actually get for the price of selling all three of the pedals I have. (If the extra money too the other ones is worth it though I'd be willing to get some more money somehow though.)
