So I just ran my Bass VI into a Driving Notion into the Rm-1n and got some unexpected and awesome results. The DN is two circuits in parallel, a really abrasive and cutting high circuit and a massive bassy low circuit. I was expecting the high circuit to cut through with the rm-1n and be extra trebly, but what actually ended up happening is that it completely cuts out the pick attack altogether and does a weird swell up to every note i play.

It's actually pretty awesome because I have other dirt I can run into the Rm-1n to help cut through the massive fuzzverb wash, so to be able to do what almost sounds like playing in reverse is pretty sweet.

If anyone else has both pedals, try this out too. I'll post clips or something tomorrow.

As everyone who has watched/heard RM1N demos on the internet, I'm in love with this pedal.
Will buy it as soon as I sell my MF101 Moogerfooger :excellent:

I felt in love with this pedal, I need it!
Fuzzonaut about the RM-1N:
"Amp in a box"?
No, there's no amp in there - tone fairies and feedback goblins live inside this box.

I've owned mine for about a month and am finding it very interesting. I liken playing it to having a conversation with an eccentric friend - for some reason, you just like talking with this person, but you understand why some straights may not. Some switches are less usable than others for me. The ones that I do use are highly interactive and dynamic. Anyway, if you are at all curious and have the means, then by all means...

I'm really loving this pedal and my mind is boggled by the amount of stuff it can do. Thank you, Andrew for making this thing. I'm always :whateva: when I see a pedal described as "an amp in a box" but that's what this thing feels and behaves like.

The verb itself is very uniquely voiced and is somewhere between a massive spring sound and a maybe a grungy plate sound. That in tandem with the interactive and highly tweakable knobs and switches, there are a lot of sounds happening here. My guitar sound is pretty rockabilly, with a slapback delay that's always on at the end of my chain. So this pedal is actually fitting into my chain more as a distortion/fuzz that's capable of incredible reverb drones, rather than a reverb pedal that happens to be dirty.

Amazing shit. Last night I was tweaking the hell out of it and was playing with some dry settings and just cranking the pre and post gain knobs and the level knob. What is it i love so much about the distortion circuit(s) on this pedal? It is voiced differently than any dirt/fuzz I've used.

Inspiring stuff. Especially for a guy who plays guitar in a noise band (me). :)

Last night the RM-1N told me it likes to be fed, so I put it last in my chain and have been feeding it the disgustingly hot and hairy sounds that come from my guitar and the rest of my pedals and the RM-1N takes them and crunches them up with its grey teeth and gnashes them into granular bits and them spits them into my amplifier in the form of cavernous beautiful horny aural vomit which blankets my entire back yard in a low hanging salty brown cloud that is so thick small animals can actually walk on it. Thanks, Andrew.
