If you are here August 1, Perfect Circuit Audio is have a free party with Kid606 and other dudes. I think it is an actual opening of their retail store (which I have tried to go to in two different places...it wasn't one yet...just warehouse). May be invite only though...

Oh, and Chrome is playing in Echo Park on Sunday.

NAMM?

Post by Inconuucl »

Can this be the snamm thread? Coo'

Pigtronix unveiled the new version of the echolution, which I could not care less about. I was so excited about the Echolution 1 (phi), so my disappointment was scarring. It's also incredibly overpriced, especially compared to the new Boss.

Haha I'm more than fine with my NAMM schedule fail being used a a building block for the snamm thread.

What are the big things expected this year? I haven't been paying much attention to the pre-hype this time around. So far just have seen the new EQD stuff, the Yamaha Refaces and yet again, the Bellwether that's been about to be released for seemingly 4evz now. Obv there's tons more...

I guess this is the NAMM thread now which is cool. I hate Comic Con. I used to go from 1990-1996 (or something) and can't stand even hearing the name anymore. NAMM is kinda cheesy, but way cooler these days.

I do wish it was the 120H though.

Somebody needs to confront Keeley. Somebody ask Catalinbread the hard question about why they didn't bring Sanner on to their "fuzzrite" team. Send the Dr. Sherman in to ask Yamaha the hard questions about the ReFaces. Everyone should get Akai reps in headlocks until they agree not to build junk anymore.

Find out how Moog is going to replace their discontinued Moogerfoogers! What's going to change at Moog now that they are employee owned? Why sponser GWAR?

Get an answer from pigtronix about why their jack placement and graphic design is so sub par.

Did the Akai rep make Predator faces again when confronted with the suckiness of their analog synth and drum products? (That was a fun NAMM thread . . .)
