Here's another GoFundMe campaign she started recently. The accompanying video is infuriating for me to watch.

That's at 6m22s "People are always like why don't you just get a fucking job, like a real job. and the truth is the reason I haven't is because everything's been working out up to this point to just work on music and art and videogames."

but this is, at least, the 3rd straight month (May and June were similar) for which she has started help me survive style gofundme campaigns and from the open updates of the console kickstarter : "I'M NOT MAKING A LIVING WAGE YET (I.E. I CAN'T AFFORD HEALTH INSURANCE, MY HEALTH IS FAILING IN VARIOUS ASPECTS, SO IT'S PRETTY FUCKING IMPORTANT I CAN AFFORD THESE THINGS BEFORE PAYING MORE PEOPLE BACK)"

Yeah I saw the video (http://www.gofundme.com/ytmbas) actually sat through her rambling bullshit which of course included Dwarfcraft bashing, Her supposed backer and more self pity bullshit that is truly stomach turning. someone call her a wahmbulance.

Would anyone trust her with pre-orders? Is anyone THAT stupid?

Didn't realise "devi" basically refuses to work a day job. What a scham, this is worse than the panhandlers I see wearing Jordan 11's(pricey kicks) around my way.

Lazy people really irk me. Get a job, sell dope, dig for scrap, just plain out do somthing other than waste peoples time and compassion with digital panhandling. Could give a fuck less about her prospects of homelessness, and quite honestly I'm sure there's plenty of good homes for her feline friends, people love cats, youtube says so.

Excuse my rant, atleast someone was smart enough to get $200 of potentially wasted money back already.

Maybe a few fraud complaints will end that joke of a fundraiser. Anyways off to "work". Enjoy your day ILF.

Also: Alot of sneaker peeps, myself included, give sneakers away when they can, to shelters, kids in need, homeless people, sometimes the kicks are beat, sometimes they are fakes, sometimes they are just a pair you didn't like, but you can't always assume a panhandler is wearing 11's because they are ripping people off, sometimes they are wearing 11's because there are some decent people in the world.

I don't feel sorry for people that refuse to work. I've worked at Gas stations and grocery stores and factories. Guess why? I had to survive. So she needs a fucking reality check in a bad, bad way. I hate to say it, but maybe being homeless would be her wake up call.


I wonder if there's any hope for Devi out there. Like is she truly a sociopath or is she borderline personality disorder? What's the deal. I just don't understand.

I always have this debate with my friends about what is better for someone, being nursed along by people in hopes they rebound or letting them hit rock bottom.

It's tough either way.

Hoping that whatever happens next she can right the ship a bit and get her life in order.

Panhandling under false pretenses is a major problem in my area. There are so many of them out their nowadays that it makes the community look bad as a whole.

Whats worse is the unemployment rate is lower than its been in a long time, and plenty of jobs to be had, which wasn't the case 5-10 years ago. But over the last few years we've had a giant spike in people standing on corners and wanting money, so much so that even my local news reports on it often.

There are families in need and I understand that, but I go through the proper channels to donate my used goods now as I know they are truly going to people in need of help.

When I see a a panhandler wearing fresh j's and a matching fitted that dropped just days before it makes me sick, my thoughts are that they are just out trying to makeup the money waisted on material things, instead of feeding your family like they should've in the first place.

I used to get very frustrated when I ran a food pantry that I would go out on deliveries and drop off food at homes that were full of exotic pets and sweet TVs - had to remind myself that the food is for the kids and that they shouldn't be punished for the adults bad choices.
