Also, is it just me or did the RV3 prices just fucking skyrocket?

Expression control looks nice, but am I the only one that just fucking hates shimmer? If I never heard it again, it would be too soon. I cringe whenever something new with a shimmer mode comes out.

I hope they come up with more effects in that style, RV-500? Maybe a stompbox remake of that one rackmount distortion unit they had back in the day? I'm interested, truth be told. I loved my DD-20 despite its stupid control interface.
