Re: little seen spring reverb features I like
maybe too much for in-amp (maybe not) a sweepable mid.
really, I think a lo-pass is first and foremost and does prob 80 % of the job
but then to change the character of the verb, a sweepable mid
On the outboards I've used with a bass control, I think I just used it as a rumble filter (whichyou could just hardwire in I suppose)

Just a preamp, but the early version of the Boogie Quad before the MIDI switching has dual pans like this. I have one and it's my favorite spring reverb ever. The rest of the thing hardly sucks, either, except I need to replace switching components to get it back in shape.gordian knot wrote:an in-amp dual tank design would be kind of nice. maybe long tank & short tank

I ask just musing about the possibility of a tank swapout.

Re: little seen spring reverb features I like
These units have already sold. The first was Special Custom Customer Ordered through my website. The second was one I made because I had the parts and it eventually sold on Reverb (how apropos). I am just showing them here because they have "little seen spring reverb features I like". I have a website if you are interested. There is a button under my SoaringTortoise picture that will take you there."D.o.S. wrote:Wait you make these things for sale?
