Re: D*A*M vs Pete Cornish
I *guess* I can see the pricing on the DAM stuff. Maybe.
Cornish is another thing altogether. Not sure why anyone would want a very very expensive buffered Muff. I was worried about reliability on a tour, I'd buy three real Muffs and pocket $1500.
But I don't begrudge either guy. If you can get people to pay you that much money for a pedal, go for it.

If I had to chose in regards to fuzz it'd be D*A*M hands down. their rams head kept up with whatever fuzz variant cornish made (cant remember if its the p2, ss2 etc). the cornish TES is probably the most overpriced (new) pedal i've ever played. I am on the list for a couple and don't know what the hell i'm going to do when my name comes up soon as their prices are just stupid for what they end up sounding like. Having a battery for comparison around would be nice though.

That sums it up for me as well. Though the second hand limited release items prices are baffling (DAM).culturejam wrote:I *guess* I can see the pricing on the DAM stuff. Maybe.

What blows my mind is the "prototype" BJFE pedals that go for half a G.Jero wrote:Though the second hand limited release items prices are baffling (DAM).
But that's a thread derailer, so let's not go there.
