Welp. I guess it's time to go out and get a job because that Interstellar Orbiter is the coolest thing I've seen since sliced bread. :omg:
It sounds like something that would've come from Moog, to me. And if it stays under $300, I'm getting that thing even if I have to eat ramen noodles for the next three months.

I thought the dunes sounded pretty cool for a small distortion with some tricks up it's sleeves. I'd love to read a little about them, like what they were goin for

As I understand it, The Dunes is an edited down version of The Palisades. The Palisades, in turn, was done half as a joke - it was a completely tricked out, every-mod-in-the-book take on a Tube Screamer circuit (which EQD had said they'd never do, so when they did it, they went all in and over the top).

I guess that Jamie was a victim of his own success, and the Palisades was so popular that non-bells-&-whistles people wanted a slimmed down version with fewer tricks up its sleeve.

I don't know which mods / variations were carried down from The Palisades to The Dunes, though.

I'm looking forward to the Dunes, for that reason. It's got the Bright switch, so the most important bit, for me, is there.

That is really funny. Turns pretty much into a normal tube screamer clone. Whatevs, I thought the demo sounds great.

Palisades and Dunes do sound great, but I still don't want none.

IO and Tentacles on the other hand...

Tentacle + DN sounds like a good idea....I wonder if anyone has the Hoof Reaper with the separate octave and a Driving Notion...that could tap that shit up.

Octave up Buzzz into DN was crazy awesome. Such treble. So abrasive.

Never been an octave-up guy.
That Tentacle art though...such stack potential...with an idiot-proof design for accessibility in front row+back row setups.
IO and Dunes look/sound good as well. Solid offerings :snax:
