I liked it a lot with my MM Bongo. I made a video demo, but I can't seem to find time for editing.jwar wrote:What about the Step? How's that on bass? Specifically, active bass.

I think I'm gonna have to get another DN. My own demo sold me on it again.

Re: Another INFANEM dirt sale
Worked nicely with my active bass. I probably should have kept it. I may get another. Tons of variety in the tones, although it was one in particular that really sounded amazing. I didn't record anything or do any demos though. Maybe neonblack did, I know it was the setting that he said was best on it.jwar wrote:I like the 141g? hmmmmmmm wonder what the 141t would be like.lol

Re: Another INFANEM dirt sale
I gotta quit selling dirt pedals.
I've loved every Infanem pedal I've tried. I just have dirt commitment issues. STEP, DN, 141g and SV have all resided on my board at some point, and probably will again.
STEP does a really good, cutting biting fuzz. Really tight and aggressive, but buzzy and vintage sounding. I can't tell if there was actually much low end loss. Maybe a little, but I think it may have also just been that the mids were so prominent.
One could have a pretty fuckin rad dirt section with just Infanem pedals. If I wasn't so attached to my Mini, I might do that.

No worries. It will just take some time. Infanem is relocated. So there was a bit of an outage.Tristan wrote:He got back before, end of April he said he was going to fix it but now nothing anymore, it's been a while.DannDubbleEwe wrote:He'll get back to you. Mine was fucked up pretty bad, it wouldn't do any phasing, just some popping thump or something.
Infanem is good people. Hands down. Trust me.

Re: Another INFANEM dirt sale
Thanks dude, that's what I thought too, I didn't know about the moving though.
I got the Faye Sing B 2CV somewhere beginning this year and I still haven't been able to play it.
So I guess Ken is now Dana?

This is ridiculous but something I can identify with completely.neonblack wrote:My own demo sold me on it again.
What's the deal here even with $30 shipping those prices are silly cheap. How am I supposed to pass on a STEP now?

Re: Another INFANEM dirt sale
How useful is the bias control on the Step? Will it (the bias control) affect my signal in cool/useful/unpredictable ways when stacked with other dirt?
(asks lurking pedal n00b)
Edit: I do now realise that it's not some kind of bias control but actually reminiscent of the TB's attack knob. Still don't have a clue what it actually does though? I ordered one to find out.
