The best part about listening to Bong is that they put out a really good record at least once a year.

For 2015, that was this one:

good deals are here.
flesh couch is here.

New HOF is delivering as well. Best tone Matt's had since DITC.

Good news, excited to hear that...didn't love the last two.

Agreed. They didn't suck, but were... lacking in that certain something. Too polished and polite on the production/tones IMO. I like my HOF angry, gritty, nasty, and covered in filth, like coming down off an evil trip on dirty acid.

The new HoF is pretty excellent.

Bell Witch's album is really unique and noteworthy.
They definitely "get it," playing slow and heavy and letting things ring out as long as you want them to.
Starting to get attention outside the doom community, too, Pitchfork gave it 8.2

Gave the Shape of Despair album a full listen. It's a great album. If you're into that Finnish funeral doom with synthesizers.

I listened to that Brume the other day on youtube and liked it.

Latest Dopethrone "Hochelaga" is some pretty sweet sludgecore. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwKUzy0jO88

Also really like the Ghold album from the earlier this year / same label as the Bong release above.
