He got back before, end of April he said he was going to fix it but now nothing anymore, it's been a while.
Mine was fucked up pretty bad, it wouldn't do any phasing, just some popping thump or something.

Also, when I sent something in for repair, Ken wasn't quick with responses, but he took care of it and updated me as he could. Seemed he's busy with doing things and the corresponding suffers. I wouldn't worry about it. Doing things by yourself can be hard.

Probably more like the Melos, Montarbo, and uni-vox big disk echos that went around for a while is my guess...though all of those did have something like an echorec for a while.

Can someone that's not Devi please make a STEP demo video? I'm real close to buying one but I just can't watch the demos when I know she's lurking... and coughing.

Fucking PLEASE! I've always been really interested in the STEP but haven't been able to try one out, and all the demos I've been able to find are those couple on YT from her. Completely regardless of any Devi controversy shit, those demos sound like absolute GARBAGE to me. The playing is just a bunch of pchunk pchunk shit, and the setup sounds like she plugged a Cort into someone's ass. Pretty much all of her demos are like that.

So yep, somebody please do that!

Also... anybody else get a little freaked by "marked down to $99 until Infanem's next new model release?" I'd hate to buy a STEP and have the new model be... a better STEP.

STEP is so great. I wish I had recorded a demo of it when I had it. Better suited for guitar but its still awesome on Bass. Does a really nice articulate midrange fuzz. Kinda buzzy and vintage, kinda aggressive and modern. Lots of different options in a small pedal. Highly recommend.

Yup. Worth noting that the disc echo has been bandied about since before the Small Echo Array was announced/completed, so it may have turned into that.
