That looks stupid nice. All around A+ guitar.

My buddy decided to have me reinstall the humbucker sized Bare Knuckle P-90 that he had in the bridge position before I put the bad T-Top in for vintage-correctness. Should sound sweet and kill my G.A.S. for an LP special with P-90s, at least temporarily.

Thanks man! The walnut and ebony combo'ed with the old DiMarzios are some kind of magic in this guy.

I bet yours will sound mean with a BKP P90 in the bridge. LP Specials are things of beauty....

Oh shit. That's right, regular The Pauls were walnut while the Deluxe series was mahogany. There was a DiMarzio Super II in this guitar when we first got our hands on it. I don't recall how it sounded but I did install it into an 80s Ibanez AR30, sounds alright. Super excited to hear the P-90 through, I never got a chance to hear the guitar with it before I put the T-Top in coz we were so excited to get it.

I know, I had a faded cherry LP Special DC with P-90s, what a mouthful for a guitar model, it was so freaking nice though. My 2002 Special is pretty nice too, is a faded ebony and the finish is just annihilated but I love that look of faded/satin finish guitars.
