These guys are under the hood: A headphone shell as a mic in the bridge position, alas it stopped working after I put it in so I hope I can fix that next time I crack it open.
And an empty humbucker as shaker box with a contact mic in the middle position
Volume pot and on/off output selection switches (it has two outputs) for each of these. Put random strings I had lying around on it (ended up .70 .60 .52 .36 .26 .14) and tuned it to whatever sounded good which ended up #F#C#C#F#C#F. Action is ridiculously high (so high that I can't even intonate it properly) so I'm probably trying to straighten and shim the neck next.

ripping me off, huh? Looks really cool - coincidentally I have a red strat with the same jack plate, only on mine the extra jack is for a piezo lodged behind the springs in the back.

haha, I was only joking - ideas just come out of the ether, right? Nah, I sold it last summer in my pursuit of rampant minimalism, but I've got a piezo underneath the vibrato plate on my mustang so I can still cop similar tones.
