Um... What sort of broccoli are you eating? broccoli as far as I know contains around 20% protein while raw, while lean beef depending on the cut should be around double that.
My apologies, per calorie, not per gram.

"None of the violence" is a pretty aggressive slogan. Don't get me wrong, I'm vegetarian, but I think a slogan like "without all the pollution" or "fuck factory farms" or "seriously we're going to die and suck the world's resources dry in the meantime".
Maybe that last one doesn't quite roll off the tongue.
Also: I'm not an elitist dick like this post suggests. You can eat all the meat you want. I took a good 4 year break from my vegetarianism. I also commute via bike every day, but I'm not gonna bitch at you and tell you to stop driving your car.
But I will ALWAYS eat In n Out if I'm near one, regardless of my dietary status.

Despite this being billed as "Kid Man Blues" by Big Maceo, it sounds to me like "Key to the Highway" as done by Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee:

You may've known that.

Good stuff.
I think Sonny would've dug playing through effects.
Actually, I just looked it up, the version of "Key to the Highway" that Sonny & Brownie are playing in that mistitled vid is "Carolina Blues".
Here's Big Maceo:

… and here's something you couldn't've known. This's probably my favorite variant of "Kid Man Blues"":

(Yank Rachell's mandolin playing kills me.

French hot dogs are made with baguette, slim pork sausages with Provence herbs cooked on the grill and the sauce of your choice.

FUCK YES.
Seems like there should be a hot dog thread since everywhere seems to have a particular style of dog and fixins and they all (most all) sound delicious!

I like the Colombian style, grilled sausage, lightly toasted buns, brown fried onion rings, pineapple sauce, tomato ketchup and a few crisps on top.
good deals with: the_brow, phantasmagorovich, alexsga, DarkAxel, goroth, The Wood Wizard, Tendollarcat, vbps, monkeydancer, intothegroove, Brobee

Sonoran-style hot dogs are the best hot dogs.

Broccoli has almost no calories (only 100 calories per two cups) - comparing it 'protein versus total calories' to beef doesn't make any sense.
There's a reason that beans are popular with vegetarians.
Also, that picture sucks. It should be a giant mound of broccoli versus one forkful of beef.
