Ugh, this is the reason I want a maple necked bass, I love the look of worn maple.
At the pawn shop in town there is a SB-2 hanging on the wall I think still. I want it but I can't afford it, I can only hope I get a windfall of cash. Also the over priced vintage guitar shop has an 80's L-1000 or 1500 in the back they keep taunting me with.
